    Purchased Nero 7. Trying to copy a DVD. When I attempt the Copy DVD I get windows message " serious error has occured...... closing program" I ran the Nero info tool and found the system ASPI files to be corrupt. I did download the Adaptec ASPI utility and attempted to install new ASPI fles, no luck.
    I am unable to use Nero 7 for any coping, including audio CDs.
    Any ideas? I did forward an email to Nero help, but have not heard from Nero yet.

    Nero will not copy, protected CD's or DVD's. You need other software to do that.

    The media I am trying to copy is not copy gaurded. Thanks for the input.

    You should be able to just download and install the aspi drivers: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/aspi.cfm

    Although, I've been using Nero 6.x, and I've never had to install any aspi drivers on any of my machines for Nero to function correctly.
