Hello,

I just had a question about the movies I can make on my Digital Camera (specifically it's a Fuji FinePix S5500), but I'm interested to know if anyone else has taken a movie file from their Camera - edited it in Windows Movie Maker - use another program to rewrite it as an AVI file to playback on their camera.

I wanted to be able to do this so I could connect my camera back into my VCR (using the AV plugs) & record direct to my Videos. It seems to be the trouble is trying to find out the right Codec - however I think I've done this. But the Sound (yes my Digital Camera supports sound - mono 8bit) I cannot seem to capture the correct rates.

If anyone wants more information I can certainally post it here, but I've got a feeling the movies recorded on my camera may use some sort of information with prohibits anything edited on a computer (not matter how closely resembled it maybe) stop this from Playing a movie back on my camera.

The only alternative I have is to record a DVD & play that through my VCR (recording the tapes or something) - at the moment I'm short on money to get a DVD Burner! :-(

If anyone can help though that would be great! :-))
