    I've try'd EO Video but I keep getting errors so, I would like to know if there is any other program that can convert real media files to avi or vcd?

    Go to http://guiguy.wminds.com/ Get Tinra. The new version has a built in compression program and has a stabilizer to resynch the audio and video. Make sure all of the programs are in the same folder before converting. Give it a try, it works great.
