This new stuff is getting obnoxious. I have a movie trailer, a Quicktime MOV file, that is an H264 with AAC audio. TMPGEnc can see the MOV H264 and encode to MPEG. But the audio will not encode. I've tried several programs, they all say there are 0 cgannels, but I can hear the audio when playing it in Media Player Classic with Quicktime Alternative.

Since I have the video, I mostly need to extract the AAC audio (demux) and convert to WAV or MP2.

    What will do this?

I renamed the MOV to MP4 and use YAMB to extract an AAC file. But now I need to find a tool to convert AAC to MP2 or WAV, preferably freeware.

Well, it seems I've found my own answers. I'll just leave this here for folks to read.

Funny enough, I did not find any answers with a videohelp forum search, but I did get my answers from a google search. And the odd thing is the google search led me to a videohelp forum thread!

I extracted with YAMB, and then let GoldWave open up the AAC and saved to WAV. All done!
