As the xbox360 forum are mainly visited by gamers, and not by people who are interested in mce video/audio, i thought i post my question here.
The 360 has problems getting the correct audio sync with some files, not all. Some divx/xvids convert fine to mpeg2 or wmv9. Other have audio that is slightly behind the video (ussually about 250ms for the whole clip).
I have tried numerous things but can't seem to solve this problem.
I have converted the clips with ffmpeg, tmpgenc xpress, svcd2dvd, and videoma all without succes. Also tried running avi-muxgui before conversion also without effect.
However some clips convert fine, and i tried to find what differences there are between the good and bad clips.
The strange thing is that all clips play fine on the pc, and that some clips have audio sync problem on the 360.
Anyone else on the same track as me, or better yet anyone with a solution would have my eternal gratitude !

Well you could try www.xbox-scene.com. They have extensive info on conversion and stuff and are now working on the 360. You might get more help there.
