    I saw him perform Virginia Woolf here a few years ago. He has an absolutely commanding stage presence which is probably why his most famous TV role was so popular.

    Did you catch him on Extras with Ricky Gervais? That was probably the funniest thing I've ever heard him do. He also beat Conan O'Brien at his own game last time I saw him on as a guest. And the fact that he does a recurring character on American Dad proves that he has a twisted sense of humor. I couldn't believe I heard the famed Shakespearian thespian say "Could you grab me that Gatorade, Smith? I seem to have left all my electrolytes in your daughter!"

    He's certainly an entertaining character, no matter what the material.
