Comcast now has the BIG10 Network in SE Michigan!!!

YEAH!

It just came on this week!!! In time for the NCAA mens football! Now I'll be able to see all the UofM games. THis is great. THey had been battling for so long I didn't know that they had solved it.

AND ITS IN HIGH DEF TOO!!! I love it.

Now I don't know if ALL OF COMCAST has gotten the BIG TEN network or not. I just know that locally here in south eastern Michigan Comcast cable is now carrying the Big Ten Network in time for Fall college football.

Now I don't have to switch to wow to get three games a year that I wouldn't really care about. I mean so they carry the non conference games, big whoop. But after last years debacle with UofM losing to whatever pipsqueak school that was last year I can at least watch those games again.

For me if its not Football or Hockey (ice hockey) its not a sport.... (or at least not a sport I care to watch on tv). I'll go watch a pro baseball game in person once or twice a year or something but I can't sit in front of the tv and watch it for hours... not enough action... know if they allowed body checks in baseball I might be more interested....

We have friends of the family who are season ticket holders and every year we buy at least one game off them. Usually a noncon obviously.

I just noticed we get it in Chicago without subscribing to the Sports Tier. Why did people want this so bad? I tuned in on Saturday and all the big games were on ESPN, ABC, NBC, etc. What was on Big10?

Big 10 had the infamous Michigan vs Appalachain State game last year. THey also had some of the other "noncon" games.

It's just that like that goofy ESPN U they are trying to parcel up the games so you have to add more channels just to watch every game during a season.
