someone just asked me if this is real and it just looks like a scam to me and I wouldn't touch it at all so I told them that. The thing is they have an address bottom left which is in New York. If I was local, obviously I could go check it out as I wouldn't mind paying those prices for software but not from a site like that . All they will probably be doing is giving you a key though I'd doubt if it was legal or from a keygen

I wonder how many people who do download warez would pay for a legitimate key from the software company but at a lower price than the boxed/cd version. If you wanted support with that key then you pay a little extra for it. All the company is doing is supplying a key to someone who wouldn't buy the software in the first place and at least getting something for it. I know some software companies do this but still charge silly prices but do Microsoft do it?

why pay for all the fancy packaging, cd's and crap these days when you can download most stuff in a few hours due to higher internet speeds? I'm just thinking along the same lines as downloading albums etc as it's slightly cheaper

for a company located in "New York", their English needs better translation....
Just reading the horrible English on their site makes me question it's legitamacy.

I've seen a few sites like this before but just ignored them . The web address itself tells you to watch out but they also list a phone number. Is that a legitimate phone number?

someone in the USA ring it

Hey, I'm from NY and I speak english just fine. Of course I'm from Upstate NY.

Just gets that though yerz head. ya got me?

The phone number is a valid number. 718 is the downtown area. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island, Bronx, etc. More commonly known locally as The Boroughs.

What worries me is the legality of selling XP Professional for $60.

If it's legitimate, I want a refund for $200 from Microsoft. Dammit. I paid a lot of good money for a $2 disc with information on it I was given the impression to be worth about $250.
