Any anlalog to DV converter (cable hardware or something) on the market???? I mean cable with composit (chinch) at one end and firewire at the other end of the cable. Or simple question? How to capture analog video to computer without having analog capture card, only firewire in?
    Regards.

Or use a DV digicam with analog input, connect the analog source with composite cable to it, then firewire output in the digicam to computer, digicam in player mode. The digital camera converts analog video to digital video (dv avi) on the fly. You'll get great results without any kind of complication , believe it. Try it.
