Gentlemen,
Is there any Card, which has both features (Video Graphics & Firewire Input (For my Camcorder)). Because, my Camcorder “ZR300” supports Firewire only, No S-Video output. And all graphics card supports S-Video input. I tried a lot but couldn’t find one graphics card with Firewire input.
Can you suggest me one.
Thanks in Advance
Sunil.

The video card S-video port your talking about is more than likely a 'output'. You want a Firewire card (can be bought relatively cheap if you search around). I can't think of any vid cards w/ firewire, though sound cards with firewire are quite common.

ATI AWI 8500 DV ? (never had one, but I hear that they get bad reviews on the firewire side of it, your results may vary)
But the moral or the story is that you don't need your graphic card for firewire exchanges, just a firewire port on your PC.
You look new to the forum. Alot of stuff here to try to figure out huh? Keep plugging away at it and read until you pass out, you'll get it.IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -
Graphics Card are more designed for outputing video rather than input. In fact, they are not meant for video input. You need to look at a seperate PCI firewire card if your PC hasn't a firewire port.
