    I've got a bands dvd and it has special songs on it, that I can only play by popping it in my dvd player. Is there any way to rip these to mp3 or something?

    There are probably other apps but the only way i can think is to download DVD2AVI from this site. This will allow you to rip the audio in WAV format, then you can convert it to MP3 using CDEX (www.cdex.n3.net - freeware), use the [ & ] buttons in DVD2AVI to select the songs you want.

    you might have to rip the DVD first using Smartripper or DVDdecrypter.
