  1. admittedly a newbie question - how do you create a DVD using Nero when the files (VOB, IFO, BUP, etc) are already on the hard drive? Nero wants to retrieve the files from another DVD or mpg file, is there an easy way to just burn the DVD with these files or do I need to get an "author" program?

  3. Do you have Nero Burning Rom installed? Not sure what you mean by, "Nero wants to retrieve the files from another DVD or mpg file" Have you tried the how to guides on this site? This link is for an older version of Nero but should give you the jist of it

    .
OK, I can see it's under the Nero "recode" section where you recode or import from a DVD to create a new DVD. In the example referenced it was called a "new compilation"

sorry, must have had a brain freeze !
