I've been backing up some of my stuff and in the process came to my DL movies (most of my DVDs are of old B&W classics, so many of them are not DL). I read through a bunch of posts and decided to try CloneDVD2 as the means to split a DL into two DVD5 sections, keeping the menus on each one. I did this becuase I have so many single layer blanks that right now it seems more practical to just do it that way. I don't believe in compressing any movie backups.
So I used CloneDVD2 to make two DVD5s, but when I looked at the IFO files I still saw a layer break indicator. If I burn a single layer disk with these files (the total of which is less than 4.4GB) what will happen to the indicated layer break? Will it hurt if I leave it in the IFO file? Is there a way to remove it cleanly if I have to?
