  1. Hello,
I was wondering if the two cool Mechs from Psyvariar II on the PS-2 & DC, were ever released as fully articulated Mech action figures similar to the Macross / Robotech VF Mechs by Bandai & Yamato?

Psyvariar 2 - Kei Miroku Mech:

Psyvariar 2 - Yuei Gosuke Mech:

YF-19 Mech by Yamato from Macross Plus:

YF-21 Mech by Yamato from Macross Plus:

VF-1S Mech by Bandai from Robotech / Macross Saga:

If so, by what company & what price?
    Any Links?

    Thanks in advance.

Can't help ya, but those sure are cool looking bots

Love the last pic of the CLASSIC 80's macross/G1 Jetfire design.

Never played Psyvariar II and know almost nothing about it though.I know its supposed to be a cool shooter which was also released for the PS2,but unfortunitly it only saw a import only release as far as i know.

  3. Yes Psyvariar II game was only released in Japan for PS-2, X-BOX & DC.
The DC iso that I tried has incredible music & graphics on par with Ikaruga.

I have 3 of the Classic 80's Macross / Jet Fire Mechas. The yellow one (VF-1S) piloted by Roy Focker in the last pic, the red one (VF-1A) piloted by Hikaru & the blue one (VF-1A) piloted by Max.

The VF-1S & VF-1A (Red) are made by Bandai. They're awesome & very well made. The blue one (VF-1A) however that I have, is made by Yamato & is not very good. Specifically it's much smaller & in order to transform it, you have to take off the legs, which kind of sucks.

I don't know how good are the YF-19 & VF-21 also made by Yamato (3rd & 4th pic), but I don't think I'll ever buy another Yamato Mech again.

But if a company was ever to release the two Psyvariar II Mechas, I would be sure to buy them, as they're the coolest loooking Mechas I've ever seen!
