I ripped Madagascar to my HD with AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter no problem with ISO setting. Shrunk it with CloneDVD2 and burned it with a Lite-On Model SOHW-1673S with the most current firmware and it appeared to have worked just fine. Tried to play it in a stand alone DVD player and it would not play. Used DVDinfo to find out the media code on the media and it could not find any code and told me the DVD was blank. Installed new Lite-On SOHW-1693S and most current firmware and tried it again same problem. When I look at the media code before burning it states that it is TYG02 after burn it cannot find media code. On another computer that I did not rip Madagascar to I have had no problem with any burns from the same spindle of Taiyo Yudens DVD-R's 8x media. I am at number 30 on the spindle right now and have had 9 bad burns so far on that problem machine not in a row but random. Tried burning with CloneDVD2, VSO CopyToDVD, Sonic RecordNow! Deluxe, DVD Decrypter same problem. Anyone have a similar problem? Suggestions?
