Hi,

OK, I'm a total noob so be gentle, it's my first time.

I'm trying to make a nice DVD of 6 episodes of a show. I have each episode as a .avi file.

I tried using Ulead DVD Factory 4 & it seems to do all I need apart from give me a template with 6 'episode picks'. All the templates they have seem to use 4 max. I was going to change the background & music & stuff anyway but wanted to start with 6 buttons. I can't believe you can't just make new ones in the package.

So, I tried Photoimpact as recommended. I duplicate the buttons, save the files, open it in DVD Factory & it crashes.

I did look at using TMPGEnc DVD but it keeps coming up with errors about the video format, fps & size etc. I don't want to get into that too much but the DVD factory can handle the file types no problem, apparently.

Is there a very userfriendly package out there where I can make a decent menu page (with music & video playing in the episode button areas etc), it handles converting all sorts of file types itself & I can easily get an output to burn?

I know there must be one, I can't believe this is so hard, I know it's my ignorance that is the problem.

Thanks for any help,

James
