I have an MKV encoded using H264 with a DTS audio track. How do I convert that to DVD? The codec as listed by MKVExtractGUI is "V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC". The audio is "A_DTS". I tried to extract the audio as .dts and the video as .avi but nothing happened.

    Any help is appreciated.

You can't extract native AVC to avi, only VfW compatibility mode stuff. You should however be able to extract to a raw .264 stream, which if you really wanted you could mux to avi using avc2avi. What next though? You aren't any closer to a DVD.

mkvextract should be able to extract DTS streams, never tried it myself though. Perhaps AVIMuxGUI will do a better job?
