  1. I am sorry if I am not suppose to Post this here..
Mod please move this if it is at wrong place.

    OK here is what happened!!!

I made a VCD for all my Digi Cam pic and I was watching on my DVD player..
It was playing well and suddenly it stopped in between and then it was not able to load..
I tried different DVD;s and CD's and it is not able to read any disk..

It tries to read and I can hear the SOUND also but after a min or so it gives message "NO DISK"...

Does that mean my Player is Dead????

Please let me know if I can try some other options to test somehow...

    Thanks in Advance.

Unplug the player for several minutes and plug it back in.

  4. Looks like everything is disposible in these days, if it is not working it is cheaper to buy a new one. They charge like $90 an hour to look at it then plus parts and labor. If you want to repair it yourself again part and shipping will cost you more. I had some occasions I wanted to repair something myself and the part was more expensive than a new set which counting warranty would worth buying a new one. A new dvd player is around $60 . Goodluck

Well, assuming you are in the U.S. you can get a cyberhome for $40.00 at BB and it can be made region free and convert PAL to NTSC. I've bought a few of them and even the one from 2 years ago still works like a champ and has been used to death!!
