  1. Hello all,

    My system:
I am using Power Director 4, and am using an AMD Athlon 3400+ with 1024 on WIndows XP (SP2).

    My Problem:
I have edited a video using Power Director 4, then using Power Producer via the produce button, I have tried to burn the video onto DVD but someway through the burn process, I am geting the dreaded 'blue screen' with a 'physical memory dump' message. After I reboot my PC and check the disk, it is completely empty, so nothing has been written to it at all - so crash must happen before actual burning section of process.

When given burn options I have selected: burn to DVD then SP quality (as my video is 1:48 long)and PAL format. The RW disc I am using is 4.7GB, whilst my video is 4.03GB.

    Can anybody help me?

    Many thanks,
    Donhinio.

If you can't output the ENTIRE PROJECT to HARD DISC
(instead of direct to the Burner)
    then dump this software..
If you can, try this and repost if Blue Screen still appears.
Its always better to seperate the steps.
Suppose you wanted several copies of your movie producion for relatives or friends.. With 'burn to disc' direct, future copies would have to come from the burned disc.. This way a backup exists on the computer from which you can burn several

  3. Thanks Dcsos ,

I have done exactly that and created an MPEG file to my hard drive, but when I use Power Producer to burn the MPEG to disk, it still crashes!!! I'm going to try another author program...

    Thanks,
    Donhinio.
