I have this problem with my brand new ND-3550A NEC writer.
When I install a program, or simply copy a disc, that includes MANY files (about a 500 or so), the drive freezes completely (most of the time), after having copied a couple of hundred files, and I have to reset the computer.
For instance, if I have a DVD containing let's say 15 folders with 20 files i each, it's impossible to copy the disc to the hard drive without the computer freezing on me. However, if I copy the folders one at a time, there is no problem.
This happens with discs that work perfectly on my other DVD/CD writers/drives.
Does anyone know of this problem?
