    Is it possible doing scene detection in Vegas 5 or Vegas 6,(working with already captured AVI file), or use compatibile software for scene detection cooporate with Vegas in time line.

    Vegas 4, 5 and 6 will all capture using scene detection on the fly, not after capture.
    For that use Scenalyzer.
    Download the free Scenalyzer to cut up your already captured video.
    You will need twice the hard drive space though.
