    I use good TDK dvd+r disks and write the movies with svcd2dvd at a speed of 4 times

    on viewing sometimes the movie will freeze intermittently and it is usually at the same spots on replay.

    theres probably a thousand reasons
    did anyone have this problem and was able to fix it.

    the dvd player i use doesnt cause any hired movie to freeze.

    A couple of suggestions:

    Try a different brand of disc. Some players/burners are picky.
    Try -R media if your burner doesn't support bit setting (burning a +R as DVD-ROM)
    Upgrade your burner firmware.
