    Hi

Ive been using svcdtompg for a couple of years now, but have recently had probs with sync issues when using it to convert vcd movies and svcd movies to dvd format so I can burn to dvd and watch on standalone.

Is there any other reliable progs out there that will achieve this for me in a few simple clicks as I use it frequently?

You can use DVD Lab Pro to do this. Use ISOBuster to extract the video and audio from the .dat structure, turn of strict compliance in DVD Lab Pro, and load them up as assets. It will resample 44.1 audio to 48khz and compile them as DVDs. This will not reencode or change the resolution, so some players may choke on them, but most will play them OK.

Don't know what the results of DVDTOMPEG look like, but you could try SVCD2DVD, which does have a trial version.
