Is there any program that can load an mpeg2 file, or a dvd source(or dvd iso) and edit scenes, then output the result without re-encoding, Just like vdub's direct stream copying?
I've looked at the womble site, but can you load a dvd as a sourec and edit?
any other programs like womble?
thankyou.

when i need to do that, what i do is extract the dvd to an mpeg file with tmpgenc mpeg editor and then open that mpeg with womble mpeg-vcr and edit out the segments i want (non-commericals).
it works very well.. -
i've used this http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable/ to open mpeg2 files in vdub.

ok, gonna try videoredo, already tried womble and its awesome, just trying to figure out how to delete a scene, it doesnt do it like vdub(mark, mark out, and then press delete).
Does videoRedo use almost no cpu or lag like womble?
and if i edit a vob file from a dvd source, does it export to same format or to mpeg2, as i think womble only exports to mpeg2 and not vob files.
