Hello, I hope I am posting to the right forum.
I just recently bought the LG LDA 530 and loving it. On one of my tvs, everything is fine. On another one, when I use component inputs and enable widescreen and progressive scan, the image will split. So what I see is the same image side by side. Initially I was thinking I had a brain lapse and forgot to turn off widescreen on the dvd players since that particular tv isn't a widescreen. So I turned it off but still 2 images. It wasn't until I turned off the progressive scan feature that the image is back to normal. Does that mean my tv doesn't support progressive scan?
Another follow up question is, if something accepts component inputs, should it not mean that it is progressive scan enabled?
Why bother having component inputs if progressive scan "mode" can't be used?
Sorry for such a noobie question.
