I'm looking to backup up my DVDs. I liked AnyDVD but want to find a free tool that automatically unprotects DVDs in the background while using, for instance, Nero. Does anyone know of a free program I can get for this?

DVD43 can be very troublesome for lots of folks, AnyDVD gives you a 21 day free trial and if you wait for new versions to be released you will get another 21 day free trail. As often as it is updated you might get a years worth of free trails. Anyway you will be happy with anydvd and for 39.00 with lifetime upgrades it is more than worth it.

Just use DVD Decrypter...
I have backed up ton's of dvd's with just that!!
only once did i have to use DVDFab Decrypter,
they strip the protection from pressed dvd's and let you run them through nero recode, DVD Shrink, ect.
I've never even DLed DVD43 or AnyDVD.
