  1. Hey everyone, I plan on buying a In Dash TV soon, and attend car shows. Well I was curious how to convert the AVI/MPEG files to VCD? I used TMPGE or whatever before but it started putting banners/logo's on the files I converted? If there is any good free converters out there please post a link. I just wanna be able to play music vids at car shows and what not to show it off! Thanx, appreciated!

TMPGEnc Free shouldn't put any banners on. Even TMPGEnc Plus can be used unlimited for MPEG-1 AFAIK.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I will try to burn a diff. vid then....the formart I need for VCD is MPG right? Any specific size, size music vids are around 240x320 or somethin I believe? If I still get the banner should I delete my current version and re- download?

Top left corner of this page - What is VCD ?

Tmpgenc free has a wizeard for VCD, so it is pretty much a no brainer. But you will only get 70 - 80 minutes to a CD, and crappy video quality.

If you have a DVD burner, the free version of DivxtoDVD will put 2.5 - 3 hours on a DVD with no banners and (assuming decent source) better quality.
