    Hi there,

    I've been using SVCD2DVD 1.5 for a while and I think it's a great program. A while ago I wanted to try-out the SVCD2DVD v2.0 RCs to see if it's better. I have to admit it's faster and the menu making gives you more control. Now my problem: I make a DVD with 9 vts, so I have to align 9 buttons when making a menu. I let SVCD2DVD encode the DVD and everything goes fine. When I play the DVD in my standalone DVD players, the red highlight state of the buttons is shown below the normal button state. I never had this problem with SVCD2DVD 1.5.
    My standalone DVD players are a Cyberhome CH-DVD 505 and a cyberhome CH-DVD 400.
    Does anyone have similar problems with the menus?

    Is you Highlight button set to red? If so just change to another color. And check the Dropshadow button and see if it's also checked as red.

    Interesting... Are you saying that red doesn't work on your Player and displays below the correct postion, but other colours work fine?

    somnus: Have you seen this before?

    I was sceptical at first too with the solution, but I changed the colour from red to oranje, and the menu works fine. The thing is, with the colour red I didn't even see a red highlight state in WinDVD, just a little selection hand below the episode name I wanted to select. On my Players it did show below the correct position.....I had this problem since RC8........

    But maybe somnus is psychic :P....anywayz it works so I'm not complaining here.....

    Well I think I may have just gotten lucky. It sounded to me that he didnt like the red color on the dropshadow so thats why I said just change it. But I guess what he's saying is it's highlighted red under his titles all the time. That, I've never seen and I've put several titles on one disc, but I'm glad it worked.

    @gummie
    am I right at what you were saying your problem was or did I just find the needle in the haystack in the dark
