  1. Searching the internet i found some interesting guides on doom9 and other sites to on how to transcode Ac3 into Aac. Nice but i have 2 questions here!
Why would anyone do something like this? Aac isn't a well known codec yet, standalone players do not support it.
Secondly noone actually seems to know how to handle it.
I even know how to convert an Ac3 into Acc, using besweet with belight gui makes it a child's play, however (and actually here is the question) how to do the opossite, Acc to Ac3 that is, is something noone knows.
Well is it? Or is there anyone there that knows?

Nero Burning Rom will convert unprotected aac to ac3 or many other formats.

Open Nero click on "Extras" and "Encode files".

I've used it as part of a chain to convert MP4 to AVI. MP4UI to split the aac and the video as an avi stream. Nero to convert the audio and then Avimux_gui to put the video and the converted audio back together into an avi container.

  3. Thought Nero doe NOT support transcoding in Ac3 i can encode it in mp3 now, thanks for the tip wolf, althought Ac3 was my initial goal.
BTW what do you mean with the word "unprotected"? Can you lock these files somehow, something like quick time files?

For ac3 in Nero you need a plugin.
    Do a google search

This is one site but I make no guarantees since I just picked this one at random.

Music files are often protected aac with a m4p extension.

    Here's a short article
