    I'm looking for a way to integrate my subtitles into the video file, in order to have only one file instead of 2.

    BUT: I want selectable subtitles, and many. I don't want them burned into the video.

    Any clues? I just know that DivX and XviD format support this. Don't know if the H264 supports it...

    Selectable subtitles are only supported in DVD for now, for DivX/XviD/H264 you should use one or more external SRT files.
