  1. i just got this program that is called VSO DivxtoDvd, is there another *better* program to convert the above to dvd?
    Also..
If i have two Xvid files, how do i join them to be able to convert them to DVD and then burn onto 1 dvd-r?

    Last question...
if i have vcdgear, i use it to convert bin/cue to mpeg, what program can i use to join if i have 2 mpeg files? and what is the best program to convert that mpeg file to dvd?

    thanks in advance

    1. DivxToDVD is probably the best one-click tool IMO, but the manual way ( http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/AVI2DVD.htm ) using dedicated tools is hard to go past.

    2. If you have two files, I'd suggest converting them to dvd-compliant MPEG seperately and then letting your authoring package join the files. Seems to avoid things like synch issues this way.

    3. Check if these MPEGs are dvd-compliant already. If so, just author them. If not, convert either using DivxToDVD or the guide I linked to above.
    If in doubt, Google it.

DLL stands for Dynamic Link Library and me being really simple here, consider it more of an 'instructional command'. There is some issue with TMPGenc when loading files; I think it maybe down to the VFAP plug-in stage. Go to program files\pegasys inc\tmpgenc as see if the p3package.dll file is there. If not, then rather than spends hours trying to figure it out i merely; 1. see if i can reinstall dll's via plugin or finally 2. uninstall and reinstall-problem generally solved.

As per your original post; IMO it is best to encode EACH file to mpeg2 and then join when you author; as per Jimmalenko's comments. Consider TDA for authoring-very straightforward and easy to learn.

If TMPGEnc says Can't load P3Package.dll or P4Package.dll?
Be sure that you have exctracted all files in the tmpgenc download zip file to a folder then go to that folder and start tmpgenc.exe or make a shortcut to tmpgenc.exe and it should work. Or try copy the p3package.dll and p4package.dll to your windows\system32 folder and restart TMPGEnc.
    If in doubt, Google it.
