I have some TV shows in avi format (~340meg each) and I normally put five ~45 min shows on a DVD with good results. The resulting size has been coming out smaller and smaller. They use to total around 4.1 to 4.3gig in size then down to 3.9gig, then 3.6, the last one was only 3.1gig? I have to use "Auto Fit" to make them work.

Does this have to due with the show content, SVCD2DVD version (2.0.2117 by the way), because I installed DVD shrink, or something else?

    Thanks,

  2. I have noticed a similar thing. It has something to do with the encoding of the AVI's because I am coming out undersize with other programs as well.
I have seen some posts about packed bitstreams and using Mpeg4Modifier to correct it, but have done no research into it as yet.

For now I have gone back to using WinAVI to do the conversion to mpg then use SVCD2DVD to make the menus.
