I always use TY 16x discs (TYG03 I think). My nec3520a reads these as able to write at all speeds up to 16x. And it, of course, writes at 16x. In my other computer I have a Pioneer 108 and it reads the same discs as onlyt being able to write at max 12x. I know this is wrong of course. I have checked and DMA is enabled.
I don't know what is happening...Can anyone shed any light on this for me? It's driving me nuts!![]()
