    Just got this DVD player its region 4 Australia

    is there any chance there is a region free hack for it around??

    Just about all Pioneer DVD players and recorders need to be opened up and made REGION FREE in a way that is not simple.

    In other words unless you buy it REGION FREE you ain't gonna make it REGION FREE yourself.

    No easy hacks for Pioneer DVD products.

    Although having said that ... some can be hacked using a special remote control but said special remote control is very expensive so ... it ain't much of an option.

    You are best off buying a Pioneer DVD player that is already modded to be region free and use that for playback and reserve the Pioneer DVD recorder for recording only.

    It might be worth asking these folks, they have a fix for the 530 which is the same generation as the 330.
