Is it possible to make it so that I can install a new version of S2D I don't have to uninstall the old version first?

With MSI you don't have to anymore. I sees the old version and uninstalls it before it installs the new version. No I have to it by hand what can be done automaticly.

Uninstalling S2D takes about 20 seconds. Is that a problem?

I'll take a look at this but i do remember reading somewhere that the MSI creation that is built into Visual Studio has problems with this. If the workaround is not heinous i will include it.

  7. As CBC said, uninstall takes only a few seconds as opposed to (what looks to me) a lot of work for CB with no assurance of a complete uninstall. Seems like a support nightmare waiting to happen (just look st the number of dnbxxx posts that could have been resolved by a simple search).

I for one would prefer that CB be able use the time on other aspects of the program.

A manual uninstall just isn't that difficult or time consuming.

Doesn't matter if it doesn't work. It seems like MS did not do there job. You would think this would be something like setting a checkbox. Lets hop 2005 solves this problem.
