  1. it's only started with the last couple builds. can't think of anything significant that's changed on my end but when i start the program, now specifically 2.0.2110 it goes extremely slow. this is not the encoding process, by the way, but just loading the program and setting up the project. i'll click on the load assets button and it's a good 45 seconds to respond. then obviously, if i do manage to get to the point where i can start processing, it's about 1 percent per hour. anyway, it's a great program chris, hopefully i'm just doing something wrong.

  5. Have never used the Program myself so can't really help with that

but it maybe worth looking in the process's Tab of Task Manager to see if anything is hogging CPU or memory resources it may help in the diagnosis

What are your PC specs? Have you done a defrag recently?

  7. it's a celeron 2.4 ghz, 256 mb ram. not great obviously but it's always run pretty well before. i defragmented yesterday as well.

  8. 256 MB of RAM's a bit on the light side, especially if you are running XP.
Perhaps you are just sucking down all available system resources.
Another 256megs of RAM wouldn't hurt...tho' I doubt all that much has been changed from earlier build to now.

Nothing "performance related" has changed... however if you want an earlier build just email me.
