Sams Club has a 100pk of inkjet printable DVD media that has the white top or silver top. What would be the real difference? also i read that people spray a think layer of clearcoat over the printout to help seal it. is that correct?

The Silver Top gives a more Hologram look to the Cover.

Double-check that it's ALL actually recordable DVD media.

Everytime I've been there they've had Verbatim 16X White InkJet Printable DVD+R Media and Verbatim 52X Silver InkJet Printable CDR Media.

That is, I've never seen Silver InkJet Printable recordable DVD media.

And just be aware, the Verbatim Silver Inket Printable 52X CDR media is ProDisc.
