  1. I have some xvid files and i just want to change the resolution so they fit in my PSP.Anyway how can i resize a video file without having to rencode it?

    Vdub doen't let you use the filters if you use direct stream copy.

    You can't. If you resize you must re-encode, sorry

  3. Are you sure about that?Cause i remeber having downloaded some programs that claimed to that when i was into video editing,but i can't remember where i put them.

    well i also tried avisynth using a resize filter but i got a playback error.

    Can't be done. Possibly a header patch of width and hieght might fool some players.

    he probably downloaded or read somewhere about resolution header patching (i.e. in SVCD2DVD).
