  1. Um....I don't know why it's doing this, but all my videos are playing in a weird hue. I'm not totally sure what hue is to a video, but when I look at the original setting for hue in Windows Media Player 10 it's at a neutral state (red). The video at neutral state however, is brighter than normal, and all blue/green colors. However, if I pull the hue to the far left (light blue/white), the colors turns to normal. I don't know why it's doing this, but it's only happened just recently. I used to be able to view things normally, but now I have to change the hue and stuff to get the video back to normal.

I just uninstalled all my codecs and players except WMP 10 and reinstalled only divx 6 and it still does this. Does anyone know my problem? I can't say it's a huge problem, but I would like to not have to adjust the hue of a video everytime I play something different to get it back to normal.

Often when this problem occurs, it is codec related. For troubleshooting, I would suggest installing and playing the file(s) with a different player, try MPC or VLC.

This could also be video driver related. You can try installing the latest drivers and/or verifying the overlay function...i believe it is in the advanced settings.

  4. Ok.......I'm currently playing Invader Zim episodes..but only half of seem to have the hue problem while the other half play regularly. I downloaded these so I guess that could explain it since they're all compilations of different rippers and stuff. THe main ripper HQ has almost all of his episodes having hue problems while all the others don't. They all use DIVX codecs I believe though.
