    I'm getting desparate here! I can't burn a dual layer DVD that works. It will start playing, but then stop. It does not work in a DVD player or the computer. I have tried both DVD Shrink and Nero Recode (Recode an Entire DVD to DVD).

    Drive: LG GSA-4102B
    DVD's : Memorex DVD+R DL

    I would appreciate any help here as I am turning out expensive coasters!

    Try using DVD Decrypter to burn

    You don't need DVDShrink if you are going from D/L to D/L....just use DVDDecrypter. ISO Read mode then ISO Write mode.

    Maybe your drive doesn't like the Memorex discs? What does Nero CD/DVD Speed show in the way of errors afterwards?

    I bought a 3-pack of Memorex DL and they all ended-up as coasters, so I for one think they are junk.

    Only Verbatim DVD+R DL for me! No coasters yet after 20 or 30 burns.

    probably ur drive..

    lg's are basic drives..mostly
    Oem'S..Get a better one...

    need a good version of
    dvd decrypter also

    nero 7 does video_ts nicely

    Memorex= crap

    Get verbatin DL and use DVDDecryter ISO read ISO burn
    Get a better drive
    No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

    I tried again doing an ISO read, then write using DVD Decrypter and the DVD would not play at all in 2 DVD players. I'll try some Verbatim D/L's, then if that does not work, look at getting a different drive. What would be a good drive to get?

    The Verbatim DLs are the best DLs I've ever used, without exception.
