I have a bunch of assorted videos that were ripped from DVD to my computer. Some are DivX, some are AVI. I have one DivX video that will not play sound throughout it. I can't hear any sound. I tried the latest codecs and even tried using DivX player. Nothing works. If anybody can help me I'd appreciate it.

open the file in virtualdubmod, and check the streams list to see if there's an audio track.

There appears to be an audio stream, but I can't open the video from inside VirtualDubMod. I also tried to save the stream as a .WAV, but I don't hear anything when I listen to it.
