    I have the RCA RTD218 sound system and it came with a DivX certified DVD player. So far I have only gotten 2 DivX files to play,all my other ones won't. So does anyone have this player and can tell me what it will play. OR

    Can someone recommend a program that will look at the file that will play and tell me like what DivX version and stuff it is? thanks

    AVICodec will identify the codecs (audio and video) used. MPEG4Modifier will give you more detailed information about the Divx/Xvid internals. Some features that can cause problems for some players: GMC, QPEL, B-VOPs. Sometimes the problem is the audio, not the video.
