  1. Hi, I recently bought a dvd recorder and have been transfering a whole bundle of family home movies to disc with great success. I then bought Tmpgenc DVD Author because it seemed to be pretty easy to work in order to make a dvd of the home movies with a menu.
My problem for the last 2 days has been this, when I push the menu button during playback on any DVD player, nothing happens. I was hoping, like a standard DVD, it would returm me to the menu screen. I just can't work out how to get it to do this. I don't include a chapter menu because it's not important. All I want is to be able to return to the main menu by pushing the menu button. Any help would be a life saver as I have family growing impatient for their copies

Did you look in "Menu Display Settings" when you are in the Menu Mode? Check those settings.

  3. I did but the closest option says "Return To Menu" but they all seem to apply only to the end of a track. It actually says "Action to be taken after each track is played". It's a real shame because it means having to skip through a track to the end in order to get back to the menu.

No, something is not correct cause the option is there. You are chossing a menu correct? I always use chapters because it is much quicker than trying to fastforward. I will have to run a test to see if I can duplicate your problem.

  5. I've tried a disc with chapters and it's the same. The menu button won't bring me back to the main screen but I have discovered that if I press "Return" it goes back so I'll have to make do with this. Thank you for the replies.
