I have a bin file that is 799 MB but the minutes of the video is just undr 80 minutes. I cannot burn with fireburner as I have 700MB/80Min cds and the size is stopping the burn. So I loaded up Nero and Daemon Tools. I took the Mpg file from the virtual cd created by Daemon Tools and I set it up using the super video cd settings in nero and it fits and it's ready to burn. My question though is, is there a program that will take that bin file and burn the SVCD to a cdr without using the conventions I did? I don't want to loose any quality and I know that the best way not to loose quality is too burn as directly as possible.... right?
Thanks for the help. Oh and I'm sending this svcd as a present but I'm not sure if the recipients dvd player will be able to handle it. Is there a "standard" svcd format that will work on most dvd players manufactured before 2001?
Thanks for any assistance on this.

OK, I think I've answered my own problems.
1) I was using fireburner 2.12 and not 1.06. I loaded 1.06 and it had no problems.
2) About the dvd player, I think that the only thing I can do is find out the recipients dvd model and look it up in the dvd compatibility list here.
If there is anything anyone wants to add, feel free.
