  1. i tried to burn a ps2 game(iso file) using nero and DVD decrypter with ritek discs and the game just doesnt work!
my ps2 makes a strange sound of creaking when it tries to read the disc.
so far dvd's that i burned for ps2 worked and it seems that the problem is not with the file.

The PS2 will not play copied discs.

    Simple two step process:

    1) Open DVD Decrypter go to MODE>ISO>READ and then it will copy the game and make an iso file on your pc hdd.

2)In DVD Decrypter go to MODE>ISO>WRITE and then select the iso file that decryptor just made. It will burn the file to the dvd.

Your mistake was attempting to use Nero. Nero will burn the disc, but will do so improperly since it isn't designed to do PS2 or any games. This method works for PC games as well. There is nothing worse then paying $50 for a game and your kids ruin them within a month forcing you to buy another or pray you followed this two step before they get their cookie crumbed fingers on them.

One more sidenote, don't burn faster then 2x.

First I would try a differnt brand of disks
Could be a few differnt things but you havent given enough info to diagnose a problem

Are the disks you using + or - R?
Which game is it that you are trying to use?
What type of mod do you have chip or swapdisks?
    What version ps2 is it?
Is the orignal media scratched badly or dirty?
What type of burner do you have?
What speed are you burning at?
