    Hi,

    What is an .dsm file?

    What codec do i need for it to play?

    How do i convert it to dvd/avi/mpg etc.. ?

    Seems it is something like Direct Show Media file (not sure though. ) About it this link http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=143157
    might be usefull. It seems part of guliverkli project (Media Player Classic and VobSub are part of this project). Seems like MPC can handle this one. Sorry, do not know the details.

    Yep, Gabest created his own media format some time ago. Didn't think anyone was using it, at least not for distrobution.

    Media Player Classic does include a splitter and muxer, also as you can see they are available as a seperate download. Specs are available in the cvs too.
