simple thing really but so hard to get em right?

can i get em on newegg?

im looking for DVD drive mounting screws, those gold thingie that goes between the mobo and case, HD mouting screws, PS mouting screws, all kind of screws! :P

i bought 1/2 of my new comp today and i realized nothing came with screws! i got a vid card, mobo, dvd drive and a case and no screws!

(i understand the dvd drive coming with no screws as it was OEM)

Go to your local hardware store and pick up 6-32, length 1/4 inch button screws. You can usually buy them by the pound for $1 or $2. You may even want to ask someone if you can just have 4 of them.

ahh thanks for the help ROF and redwudz. Is it possible to get the gold pieces that go between the mobo and case at a local hardware store?

Your case SHOULD have come with all the hardware. But yes, you can buy those gold "thingies" at hardware stores - they are called "stand-offs", by the way. Try Home Depot or even Radio Shack.

Some of the threads on your drives are metric and some are SAE, so it is difficult to buy parts without taking the particular drive into the store.

As redwudz suggests, Computergate has lots of basic hardware items that almost don't exist any place else.
