Can anyone help me?
I have just upgraded my Nero to 6.6, and now my dvd won't burn anything.
I have tried using mt dvd shrink...even straight copying another disc...but it keeps coming up with an error saying somehitng about an illegal block..
Pleas help

Can you post the log from the failed attempt so we can examine it?

you might not have the nerro dvd plug in installed. just download a free copy of dvddecrypter and burn with that.

First thing, until this is fixed use only rewritable disks, don't waste the good stuff. See if your drive can recognize the media you have by using DVD Identifier.

Seems Nero or your drive didn't recognize the media.
You say you upgraded Nero? Did you do a clean install or did you upgrade over the older version? You may want to uninstall and do a clean install. It also possible you need a firmware update if you are using latest version of Nero (6.6.0.16). Did you make any other changes to your system before the problem occurred? If you weren't having any problems before the "upgrade" it may be best to revert to the previous successful version you were using.
