  1. Hello. I searched the site but couldn't find anything to help me. If I overlooked something, I'm sorry.

Is there any way to play an NSV file without Winamp? I use an older version of Winamp because I didn't care for the newer versions. Is there any way to get the codec, etc. necessary to play the file and just play it in Media Player Classic or something?

    Thanks.

Don't think that there is a dshow nsv parser, so that would be a no to Media Player Classic.

mplayer supports nsv and can decode VPx (VP6, etc. reqire external dll's). If someone was to port nsv parsing from libavformat (or is it mpdemux?) to dshow then you could use MPC.
