i dont think you need the floppy drive or the cd burner.

you can use virtual floppy drive to make your floppies on to your virtual "a:" drive, and then transfer that floppy to a cd-rw.

your dvd burner can burn cd's.. i'd rather drop another $20 and get another dvd burner.

Yeah ditto on the dvd burner.

Just remember to get as much ram and harddrive space upfront as your budget will allow. ESPECIALLY if you do a lot of video projects. You'll be glad you went with more.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I'd suggest you purchase a ANTEC Power Supply or get a ANTEC case.

get a smaller hard drive to put your operating system on like a 80 or 120 gb and use the 250 gb you chose as the second hard drive.

    as mentioned previously..

you might see if it is affordable to split up your hdd space over 2 or 3 drives.

sometimes you need to extract/copy large files, it's a lot quicker to do it from one drive to another, instead of on the same drive.

also, if one of your hdd's dies, you dont lose everything. it's a mini insurance policy.

Is that case too small for normal sized ATX parts?

It's a ATX mini case which will fit your components ok. The mobo is standard size of 12.0" b7 9.6" Here take a look at the antec link where it says it fits main boards 12" x 9.6": http://www.antec.com/specs/SuperLanBoy_spe.html
